The Rev. Vern Dolde, Pastor Emeritus

I started my official ministry in June of 1952 serving as Licensed Pastor at St. Stephens in Merrill.  I was ordained in June 1954 and served three churches. St. Paul's UCC, Old Monroe, Mo.; Peace UCC in Schofield, Wisconsin, and First UCC in Reeseville, Wisconsin.  I retired December 1, 1993 and on August 1st, 1994 I started serving as a Visitation Minister (40 hours a month) at St. Paul's UCC in Wausau.  I visit the elderly who still are in their own homes, in assisted living and nursing homes.
