
William
Day is Professor Emeritus of Music from the University of
Wisconsin, Marathon Campus. During his career he taught
voice and choral music at the junior and senior high school
and college level. He has been active as director of show
choirs, Broadway musicals, church choir and community
choirs. He did his undergraduate work at the University of
Dubuque in Dubuque, Iowa and his graduate work at the
University of of Iowa in Iowa city, Iowa. He has taken
selected choirs to Europe, has sung professionally, and
"college wise" has distinguished himself by being name
Professor of the Year and have his college choral group
selected to perform in Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center in
New York City.
