EVENT RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Come-up with idea and direct it to appropriate committee.
2) Committee hears idea and either rejects or promotes idea.
3) Committee Chair selects a committee project chair and assigns
responsibility.
4) Set a date (With overseeing group).
5) Clear the date on Pastor’s calendar
6) Notify the office of meeting dates for office calendar.
7) Indicate where profits will go (with overseeing group).
8) Set the price (with overseeing group).
9) Assign committee member responsibilities.
10) Notify the office of any advertising your committee wants in
bulletin,
Communicator, e-mails and slide.
11) Advertise 30 days in advance.
12) Create your own advertising. (Write and give to office article,
e-mail, etc)
13 ) Be in church personally to promote event.
14) Execute event.
15) Clean-up after event.
16) Deliver profit to designated place, but through the office.
17) Keep a file about event at the church.
18) Celebrate, because you have hosted a successful event!
