Vacation Bible School (VBS)

Vacation Bible School is a highlight of the summer! Children experience a week filled with faith-based fun, including crafts, music, games, stories, and hands-on learning.


  • Open to children in the Wausau area
  • A welcoming environment for kids of all backgrounds
  • A great introduction for families new to St. Paul’s UCC or the Wausau community

  • Accessibility & Inclusion: Everyone is welcome to attend our FREE VBS. No church membership is required. Our facilities are handicap accessible; the elevator is located at the back of the building. Use the 5th Street entrance.

Christian Education at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ

Faith-Filled Programs for Children, Youth, and Adults in Wausau

At St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Christian Education is about growing in faith, curiosity, and community—together. Our programs are designed to support children, youth, and adults as they explore God’s love in welcoming, age-appropriate, and engaging ways.


 All programs are open to the public. No church membership required.


Sunday School (Ages 3 – 6th Grade)

Sunday school helps children build a meaningful relationship with God while having fun and making friends. Each week includes stories from the bible, music, games, and creative activities led by caring adults.


  • When: Sundays, September through May
  • Time: 9:20 am – 10:15 am
  • Ages: 3 years old through 6th grade


Our goal is to create a safe, joyful space where children feel valued and excited to learn.


Confirmation (Grades 7 – 8)

Confirmation at St. Paul’s UCC is a two-year program that invites youth to explore faith, ask thoughtful questions, and develop a personal understanding of what it means to live as a Christian today.


  • Open to all 7th-grade students
  • Focus on faith, service, and community

Music Programs for All Ages

Music is an important part of learning and worship at St. Paul’s. Our music programs are free and open to everyone, regardless of experience level.


  • Junior Bells: Grades 1 – 8
  • Senior Bells: Grades 9 and up (youth and adults)
  • Starburst Choir: Sunday school-aged children
  • Praise Band: Musicians of all ages
  • Chancel Choir: Adults of all skill levels
